What means the world to you?

Working hard in your life, sometimes you don’t realize that you’re holding onto things that God wants you to let go in order to move forward in your life. You want to hold onto to all your successes. Wear them like a badge of pride and I get it, but life has its way of showing you otherwise at times. Maybe it’s to humble you or maybe it’s to motivate you and keep you hungry for future wins. You’re busy trying to gather all your shit that you don’t realize what’s holding you down in the first place. You have to take time to reassess what’s happening in your life that you can control. Take inventory and make the proper adjustments.

When you work hard, sometimes it can be difficult to detach yourself from your successes. You wonder well why did I just put all this work in not to be able to carry the successes around with me? Well actually you do! In fact your direct choices for what you want to bring into your new chapter are a huge part of your future successes. Recognizing opportunities and learning from experience. Being aware of how you want to grow. Bringing bitterness from your previous chapter into your new one. Having doubts and negative thoughts about your new chapter. These are all different but not even a fraction of choices that you have when staring a new chapter but it’s up to you which you choose to take along with you. Here are a few of my favorite take alongs.

• connections! Your network is your net worth so it’s super important to make sure you’re making valuable connections.

• new thought processes and ideas that you’ve accumulated from experiences in your previous chapter

Clients – someone who you provide a service to in exchange for compensation and usually loyalty.

So make sure that you are aware of your possessions and the things you’re holding on to. Figure out what you need and what you don’t. Experience is the best teacher so buckle up for the ride and be present and willing to progress for your future.
